We're Betsy and Evan.
Before Spectacle existed, we found ourselves drawn to the same things: good coffee, shared meals, beautiful places, and the kinds of experiences that make time feel slower and conversations last longer. Some of our favorite moments have been the simplest ones. Watching the sun set over the ocean, discovering a tiny café in a new city, gathering friends around a table, or enjoying a quiet morning with a cup in hand.
Spectacle grew out of those moments.
What began as a shared appreciation for thoughtful living became a desire to create and share the things that have enriched our own lives. Coffee became our starting point, not because it is simply a product to sell, but because it has always been an invitation. An excuse to slow down, connect, and pay attention.
Today, Spectacle is our way of bringing together the people, places, and rituals that continue to inspire us. We're grateful to share them with you, and excited to see where the journey leads.

At our core, we are drawn to experiences that invite a slower, richer way of engaging with the world, and from them craft and curate goods that reflect that philosophy.
Today, that means sourcing and roasting coffee with care and gathering provisions that encourage moments of presence and connection. But more than products, we're interested in the rituals that surround them: quiet mornings, shared meals, conversations that linger, and the small habits that help us remain curious and attentive.
Everything we offer, inspired by a life of travel, hospitality, and curiosity, is chosen with the hope that it might enrich everyday life and inspire a deeper appreciation for the world around us.

What began with coffee was never meant to end there. As time unfolds, we hope to expand into teas, local provisions, and new expressions of hospitality, food, and gathering.
More than any single venture, Spectacle is an umbrella for a life rooted in curiosity and generosity. We believe there is no promise that someday will arrive, so we're choosing to pay attention, take chances, and embrace the opportunities in front of us.
