Grown by smallholder farmers in the mountains around Marcala, Honduras, this organic and Fair Trade coffee comes through COMSA, a producer cooperative founded to help farmers build a more sustainable and independent coffee economy. The highland climate and mineral-rich soils of the Montecillos range produce a clean, balanced cup with bright citrus acidity, gentle caramel-like sweetness, and a satisfying chocolate finish.
This is a classic Central American coffee with plenty of character without being demanding: lively and sweet, with a smooth body and a clean, lingering finish.
